Kishi Japanese Restaurant. The best sushi for miles and miles. Seriously. We know these things. 320 W. Foothill Blvd., Upland, 909.981.1770. $$

Sushimaru. Tepanyaki meals are served here, but without the live performance. They have lunch specials everyday and moderately priced dinners. 780 E. Foothill Blvd., Upland, 909.920.0145. $$

Thai Satay BBQ Restaurant. Lunch and dinner specials are served everyday at a low price. Their dinner specialty is the sautéed chicken. They serve several curry variations in addition to their Thai food. 1403 E. Foothill Blvd., Upland, 909.920.0199
