Local Music Issue

With an expert group of field researchers and a few practitioners of the Capo, we’ve attempted to study some of the behavioral patterns of the “Local Musician”—geophukin rockacocki—and our findings were peculiar. Did you know that there exists within our reaches an underworld of roiling spirits who communicate through use of something called “instruments?” Music with these instruments is done as a sort of “mating ritual,” not unlike that of the black grouse. The following are reports from our field research. As always, some of our subjects continue to undergo observation to better understand their assimilation to this arid habitat and its natives.
