Best Hotel

To put it simply and deservedly, the historic Mission Inn Hotel virtually defines Riverside. It’s the de facto center of the city, the quintessence of architectural wonder and a severe homage to the greatness that, despite any lost faith, continually exudes from the surroundings. Opulent, stunning and inviting are just some of terms to describe this landmark, built in 1903 and featuring 200-odd rooms, a day spa and two wedding chapels. There’s too much history to get into here in this blurbiage, but you should know by now that Richard Nixon was married here to Pat. Take a walk up to the Alhambra Court and you’ll feel like you’re in another part of the world—that is, until someone down below in a passing car screams “Riversiiiiiide!” (Waleed Rashidi)
