Best Pizza

Romano’s is actually known for being a terrific overall Italian restaurant and its Canyon Crest location hosts live bands each week . . . but as people have written in, it’s really all about the Chicago-style pizza. For you New Yorker types who like the razor-thin pies, Chicago-style pizza means deep dish, which is pretty much just the opposite. There’s the Stuffed Pizza, which takes some extra time to get baked to perfection—check out the “My Brother the Landscaper’s Garden Vegetable Combo”—and the “Sissy Pizza” style with thin crust (take that Bonello’s!). In a word: this isn’t the same ol’ dough pie. (Waleed Rashidi)
