Best Place to Turn a Corner

It’s addictive, it’s fast, it’s (relatively) safe and really dumb fun. It’s indoor kart racing, and the best place to do it is Fast Lap in Mira Loma—a warehouse near the Ontario airport. The reason Fast Lap kicks ass is they use gas-powered Honda engines rather than electric, so you never suffer loss of power. In other words, omnipotence—at least for a little while. These karts can get up to 50 miles per hour, and the track—designed by professional IKF racers— is 20’ wide by 1200’ in length. Thursdays, all you can drive for $50. And hey, ladies—Wednesdays are free for you. Sexist, we know. (Stan Bolinowitz)
