For those missing the hot, thumpin’ nights that could be had at the now-gone Key Club Morongo, the Cabazon-based casino and entertainment mega-venue just announced it’s re-opening its nightclub for dancefloor-hungry desert dwellers as well as Angelenos jonesin’ for some Inland action. The 20,000-square-foot Vibe will kick off April 17 with all the trimmings—KROQ will be there, door prizes, music till 1AM. The Vibe was closed since December in order for the casino Powers That Be could use it as a live-music venue. In a prior incarnation, the club was called Key Club Morongo when it opened and operated by the same folks that operated KC in W. Holly-land. Vibe “is not only chic and modern, but it is also a place where both young and old adults can let loose and have a good time,” says John Momaney, director of marketing at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa.
