This might be a 15th anniversary party, but most SoCal locals know SRH as a force that’s been around for more years than that. SRH rocked the early ’90s by throwing parties in coastal spots like Pacific Beach and Mission Beach that mixed DJs with then-unknown punk bands like Pennywise, the Offspring and Guttermouth. A scene emerged around the SRH name, and when they decided to press some tees, one of the first lifestyle brands was born. While the date is an approximation of when SRH officially became a clothing company, their anniversary party has been a long time coming. “It’s our first anniversary party ever,” says founding partner Kevin Zinger. “Really, it was all about getting everyone together for one huge night, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by inviting as many friends as you can.” The Kottonmouth Kings, Hollywood Undead, (hed) p.e. and Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne are among the performers set to entertain the party’s backwards hat, baggy pants-wearing bros. “When you don’t get invited to the cool guy party, you throw your own hell-raising bash,” says Kottonmouth’s Daddy X, a partner with Zinger in Suburban Noize Records where many of these acts are signed. “We built a whole movement in being outcasts and misfits, so we made our first festival an epic gathering of chaos and hot women.” Tix are $30, but online buyers can use the code BROCHELLA09 to score free SRH merch while supplies last.

SRH Fifteen Year Anniversary Party featuring Kottonmouth Kings Tech N9ne, Hollywood Undead and others at the National Orange Show, 689 S “E” St., San Bernardino,, Sat., June 20, 6PM. $30, all ages.
