Wow, is this our third time at this? Yup, guess so. We welcome you to our third annual BEST OF IE issue, in which we do the impossible: We crunch numbers, pay bribes, cajole readers and otherwise engage in dirty tricks to figure out the best of the best in this unhallowed region. What’s the best restaurant? Where can I get some awesome vinyl? Who’s the best rapper in the land? Is the Hustler Club in Redlands really the best strip club? (Uh, yes.) These are the questions (and 103 others) that we sought to answer. And, boy, did we. So many of you turned out in droves (except for Best Indian Restaurant . . . what’s up with that?) to vote your two cents in.
Now, here’s the chance for your voice to be heard. Well, actually it’s our voice, but you picked ’em and we checked ’em and now we get to illuminate the world at large on the hot spots, the cool hangouts and everything in between.
Our 2009 Best of IE gives props where props are due. And if you disagree with the top vote getters, well, don’t blame us. The people have spoken.
