7th Annual ASA World Championships of Freestyle Motocross

Rev your motors, it’s going to be a grudge match. Two years ago, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg took the title from 4-time champ Nate “The Destroyer” Adams in a fierce motocross race at the Fairplex in Pomona. Everyone anxiously awaited a rematch last year, but when an injury prevented Adams from competing, Stenberg walked away with a second straight championship and vowed to three-peat. That vow gets put to the test this weekend when Adams and Stenberg finally meet again at the 7th Annual ASA World Championships of Freestyle Motocross. “This is the one event I most look forward to competing in each year,” says Stenberg. “The course is always great, the stands are packed and it’s really close to where a bunch of us live. I’m looking forward to riding against Nate and all the other top pros to get my three-peat!” Stenberg and Adams will certainly eye each other, but they certainly can’t forget the six other world-class competitors tearing up the track and vying to nab their own championship trophy. Other riders include the Keystone State’s Adam Jones and Nevada’s Mike Mason. The ASA World Championships takes place during the final weekend of the L.A. County Fair and will stream on the site BFD.com. The race will then air on CBS on Dec. 6 following NFL football.
