If snuggling up to your DVR for a marathon viewing of Sons of Anarchy is your idea of a Friday night and if you cringe every time you see John Travolta and Martin Lawrence don leather jackets and blaspheme the art of two-wheeled riding and the open road in the turkey-of-a-film Wild Hogs, then this upcoming bike show in Pomona might be the thing to add a little juice to your V-twin dreams. Featuring the all-stars of custom-built motorcyles, you can bet the Easyriders V-Twin Bike Show has got more chrome than Lil John’s molars and guzzles more motorcycle oil than the underside of a Jiffy Lube. Expect to pack your saddlebags with tons of sweet merch (like that Iron Man helmet you’ve been dreaming about) from the more than 300 exhibitors at the Fairplex. Dennis Kirk is one of the sponsors—which means you’ll find All Things Aftermarket at this soirée—maybe even that conversion kit the wife won’t let you buy. Bring the kiddies along—you are planning to get them their motorcycle license when they turn 16, right?—cuz young’uns 5 and younger are free. Drop your kickstand and park it here for the weekend if you want to get inspired to finally fix up that HD Road King rusting in the backyard. (Matt Tapia)
