Has it been a year already? Well, if fashion and dance are the name of the game, 12 months isn’t enough to contain all your style and moves—and that’s the philosophy behind Mode7. This all-ages monthly event dedicated to uniting cutting-edge fashion and music is coming to The Glass House Friday to celebrate its one-year anniversary. The brainchild of DJ Disk Jo Slim and DJ Sir Charles—who’ve carved tenures for themselves in L.A.’s electro music scene—Mode7 events cater to the hip, the fashionable . . . and those who want their club experience to look damn good. What started out as a low-key party in downtown L.A. last March has branched out—with help from MySpace and Twitter—into bigger bashes, indie clothing lines (GLAMER1 and SEWbySEW) and bookings with some of the best dancefloor deviants, including Paparazzi and HyphyCrunk. Now easily counting 800 to 1,000 sweaty bodies per monthly event and sporting bigger and better venues, this Friday party features Sonny Moore, Jeff T, Clint Walker, plus crates of party jams, indie and ’90s tunes. Fashionable attire is a must, so don’t be showing up here in your comfies. You’re better than that.

Mode7 One Year Anniversary at The Glass House, 200 W. 2nd St., Pomona, (909) 865-3802;, Fri, March 19. Doors open 9PM. Tickets $10 advance, $15 door. Dress code.
