The 2010 Holiday season will be the first since the former Pharaoh’s Lost Kingdom’s June rebirth as Pharaoh’s Adventure Park (not to mention their Best of the IE win for “Best Place to Get Wet” a few months back), and what better way to celebrate Pharaoh’s’ inaugural Christmas than with a two-day hip-hop extravaganza. Presented by Up Beat Entertainment Productions, the event, dubbed “The Biggest Boss Christmas Bash,” will not be the Egyptian-themed water park’s first run-in with the music industry; during its previous incarnation, the then-abandoned Redlands amusement park was notorious for hosting all-night raves, as well as a “420 Fest” in April of 2009 that drew an estimated 11,000 partygoers. Day one of “The Biggest Boss Christmas Bash” will be headlined by “The Boss” Rick Ross (whose latest release, Teflon Don, dropped in July), while day two will feature Vallejo rapper E-40 (who released not one, but two full-lengths in March, Revenue Retrievin’: Day Shift and Revenue Retrievin’: Night Shift). So if you want to get a head start on your Christmas celebration with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, just look for the giant pyramid off the I-10.
