Bring in the l-o-v-e, as its tagline notes that this show’s everything you slyly deliberated about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but just wouldn’t discuss. The adult-oriented musical comedy, written by Joe DiPietro, is delivered in vignettes. Presented by the Catch A Star Theatrical Players of Beaumont.

LAKE ELSINORE STORM VS. HIGH DESERT MAVERICKS

It’s a Cal League Baseball I-15 north-south showdown as the High Desert Mavericks head up against the Lake Elsinore Storm. While the Mavs—Class A Mariners affiliates—are the pride of Adelanto (and they’re helping to represent adjacent city Victorville, too), the south side’s covered by the Elsinore-based Storm, the Single-A affiliates of the Padres. Play ball!

Tues, 7:05PM. Stater Bros. Stadium, 12000 Stadium Way, Adelanto, (760) 246-6287.

THE BLED

Arizona-based The Bled has been screaming at the top of its Tucson-bred lungs since its inception some ten years ago. Through it all, the band’s remained productive, releasing some solid full-lengths and racking up plenty of interstate touring miles in the process. Also on the bill is locals Fights in the Orange Groves.

Wed, 7:30PM. $5-$12. The Barn, University of California Riverside, 900 University Ave., Riverside, (951) 827-2776; www.kucr.org.
