Whether he’s paying a visit to the Fresh Prince in Bel-Air; scrubbing in with Dr. Turk, John “JD’ Dorian, Elliot and the rest of the Sacred Heart hospital staff; or clowning around his own television family, DL Hughley always managed to get a laugh. The actor began as a comedian hosting BET’s stand-up comedy program ComicView. By the late ’90s, Hughley had his own sitcom series The Hughleys. He was also a host for the 2008 BET Awards. It was announced last year that Hughley has plans to guest host Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and to host his own game show Who’s Bluffing Who? But after it all Hughley still performs live. Find out if he’s still opposed to bungie jumping or thinks Jesus is a black man at the upcoming Ontario Improv shows this weekend.

DL Hughley at Ontario Improv, 4555 Mills Circle, Ontario, (909) 484-5411; www.improv.com/comedyclub/ontario. Fri-Sun, June 17-19. $30.
