Springtime in Paris

They say Springtime is the best time in Paris. The flowers are blooming and the city is alive. The romantic city boasts a variety of tourist activity from site seeing to wine tasting to fancy dining. But why travel all the way across the ocean to enjoy some fancy food? RCC’s culinary academy brings Springtime in Paris to downtown Riverside. Local chefs along with the Culinary Academy’s students and faculty will be preparing a six course meal on Friday, featuring seasonal flavors, textures and aromas. On the menu is a block cod appetizer, summer soup, sorbet trio, filet mignon entrée, cheese course and a dessert assortment. Proceeds will go to benefit the Academy in its relocation project as well as the Sendai Relief Fund. All foods were donated by various vendors. In addition to the meal, there will be a cocktail reception, live music and a silent action and raffle.
