Taking advantage of the warm summer nights in the Inland Empire, the Riverside Art Museum has opened its roof to an eclectic array of music. From live jazz to acapella to ’80s beats, the Rooftop Club features a different act every Friday through the end of September. This week’s performance will be by the Movie Soundtrack Cabaret. Led by musical director and pianist Allen Everman and accompanied by several professional vocalists, the live band will perform familiar tunes from your favorite movies. The Movie Soundtrack Cabaret has something for everyone from Footloose and Grease to Pulp Fiction and Singin‘ in the Rain. Music and film lovers unite, with this heat wave, we can only hope to be singing in the rain.

Rooftop Club at Riverside Art Museum, 3425 Mission Inn Ave., Riverside, (951) 684-7111; www.riversideartmuseum.org. Fri, Aug. 12 through Sept. 30.
