D.I.Y. Music and Fashion Festival
By Lynn Lieu
Presented by Bricktoyaface.com, the D.I.Y. Music and Fashion Festival boasts 16 performers and six vendors for one night at The Glass House in Pomona. Headlining the event is none other than San Bernardino’s own Noa James. James’ musical career began when he was only 13 years old. It grew as James began frequenting The Common Ground open mic nights at Riverside’s The Vibe. The battle rapper then quickly made moves up the hip-hop ladder. He signed with local indie label Black Cloud Music, released his debut album Beautiful Darkness last year and made a milestone appearance at this year’s Paid Dues. He is currently making appearances throughout the IE and has released his Intelligent Elegant Elephant: Humble Power EP. James will appear alongside What Hands are For, Spirit Fangs, his fellow Black Cloud Music artists Curtiss King, Faimkills, Art Barz and Jynzz, and more at the D.I.Y. Festival… And it will be his six-year anniversary with his girl friend, so show some love!
