Jay Leno

The comedian who followed the footsteps of Johnny Carson and recently stepped on the foot of Conan O’Brien is bringing his comedy skits to the Inland Empire. For the past 19 years, Jay Leno has catered to late-night audiences of stand-up comedy as host of The Tonight Show, outperforming his competitors David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel and now O’Brien (he just can’t get a break, but he’s still damn funny). His punch lines are the works of legends, which are from the minds of his esteemed writing staff. And who can forget his television controversy over ownership of The Tonight Show with O’Brien? Of course, Leno emerged on top, retaking and rescuing the show amidst falling ratings during the O’Brien coup. He’s a man who needs no introductions (but his plethora of historical vehicles might). Team Leno for life!

Jay Leno at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino, 777 San Manuel Blvd., Highland, (800) 359-2464; www.sanmanuel.com. 8:30PM. $50-$70.
