The next big sensation of musical glory and perpetual cuteness is this acoustic duo, consisting of sisters Elle and Shealeen Puckett, constituting bursts of poppy acoustic guitar strums and brilliantly intermingling keyboard notes. Yes, Poema consists of two young, adorable women from Albuquerque, N.M., and their beautiful selves can be found on YouTube. The duo plays some of its songs on a personal webcam. Of course, aesthetics don’t dominate Poema’s musicality, as its hit songs “2AM” and “Wool Coats” demonstrate some of the most powerful vocal harmonies ever contrived by musical sisters (“Wool Coats” is one for the Christmas congregations). The duo is now touring the country (and Europe) to promote its newest EP Sing It Now, which was released in March earlier this year. Oh, and the girls have the brightest smiles ever. No exaggeration.Poema at
