Cults, a New York indie-pop band fronted by Madeline Follin and the amazingly named Brian Oblivion, will perform songs from its critically acclaimed debut album. Much has been made of Cults sound and of its unique debt to performers of a bygone age—The Supremes, Phil Spector and Lesley Gore according to one reviewer—but after listening to songs such as “Go Outside” and “You Know What I Mean,” it’s pretty clear that the band is putting its own stamp on the music it makes. A big part of this is Follin and her impressive vocal range.

Cults with Spectrals and Mrs. Magician at the Glass House, 200 W. Second St., Pomona, (909) 865-3802; 7pm.
