Walking through the vibrant and enticing streets of Paris and Provence, France one can only wish to stay on a permanent vacation. Yes going to France can be very expensive and let’s face it who has that kind of mulah to blow now ‘a days, but there is a solution to this dilemma. Although we can’t literally be there to soak in the culture, Kathy Harmon-Luber has answered our prayers and brought it with her; well at least her camera has. From her recent trip to Paris and Provence this summer, she has returned with breathtaking images from all those markets we wish to buy our fresh fruit and vegetables from (for all you non-processed food eaters), and for those who spent their time complaining how there are no real cafés here, she has brought a glimpse of them as well. So will it be worth you coming to see the works of Idyllwild’s 2012 Artist of the Year? Well I certainly think so!

Artspresso Gallery, 54380 N. Circle Dr., Idyllwild, (951) 659-0201; www.kathyharmonluber.com. Opening Reception 5pm-8pm.
