¿Quieres bailar? Do you dance? Would you like to? Feel the rhythm when Larry Hernandez comes home to Southern California this month. The rising star in regional Mexican music will be performing at Pechanga and it will be a party you won’t want to miss. He’s bound to play all of his most recent hits, such as “Sin Ganas De Cenar” and “Mas Que Suerte.” If you’re lucky, you might even hear “Arrastrando Las Patas” and “El Phoenix Antrax”! If you have no idea what I just wrote, then maybe you’re in need of a cultural refresher (trust us when we say there is more to the radio than Justin Bieber and Pitbull). Here, we’ll teach you a little Spanish to get you prepared. If you really like the music, say “Esta música es impresionante!” If you want to know where the bathroom is, just say “¿Dónde está el baño?” If you have no idea what’s going on, say “No tengo idea de qué está sucediendo en estos momentos.” The latter is most likely to happen but we give you points for trying.
Pechanga Theater, 45000 Pechanga Parkway, Temecula, (951) 693-1819; www.pechanga.com/tickets. 8pm. $55-$80.
