An animal rights group this week accused a cheese supplier for In-N-Out Burger of cruelty to cows after conducting its own undercover investigation. The undercover video shows workers “viciously beating, kicking, jumping on and shocking cows, and violently twisting their tails in order to deliberately inflict pain, dragging a downed cow with a tractor, and allowing sick or injured animals to languish with open wounds, broken bones and infections without proper veterinary care,” according to Mercy For Animals.
The accused dairy supplier is Bettencourt Dairies in Murtaugh, Idaho. There are In-N-Out Burger locations in the Inland Empire include Chino, Fontana, Riverside and Victorville. Mercy For Animals is asking In-N-Out to drop Bettencourt as a supplier.
