Let’s make a deal. Do you want to see a great comedian, one known for being something of a wild child in the past, who can still drive audiences wild despite growing up a little? Well you can’t get better than Howie Mandel. He’s been one of the most consummate performers of the past several decades and he’s going back to his roots with a stand-up act at the McCallum Theatre. Older audiences will remember his stint on the Emmy winning show St. Elsewhere and his routines becoming even more cartoonish on the kid’s show Bobby’s World. Of course, there is the obvious position he holds on Deal or No Deal that probably has most modern audiences recognizing his face. Given everything he’s gone through since he last entertained audiences one-on-one, you can probably bet that he’s got more than enough new material to keep you on your toes. Despite normally being a family entertainer though, this show has a mature content warning so it’s best to leave the kids at home for this one. Maybe they can watch Bobby’s World reruns instead.
