Write on, Alex!

Many of us recognize Penman's comment as his typical grandstanding. Doubtful he would accept responsibility in the event of a tragedy resulting from his advice.

It's time for citizens of San Bernardino to pay attention & vote in the next election. Voter apathy is what got us stuck with this guy. We can do better!

The problem with this city is the Mayor's lap dogs like BB. They continue to blow one statement out of proportion. The town hall meeting was held to discuss security concerns over the violent robbery death of an elderly woman who was at home alone at the time of the crime. The idea of lock your doors and carry a gun in that context isn't out of place.

It is gratifying to see the rank and file, San Bernardino's Finest.... speak up on behalf of those that dedicate our city. Their own colleagues. They are proud of their service, and rightly so.

SB Police Chief Handy has not spoken up until recently (12/3) when he said: ""I do not agree that we have a Police Department that cannot respond adequately," Handy said. "I take exception to the lack of confidence that's portrayed of our Police Department and being drug into a political issue."
