Chinese women are going to have to find a new path to American citizenship for their kids, because Chino Hills isn’t silently cooperating anymore. The city recently shut down an alleged “maternity hotel” via a temporary restraining order, according the news reports. This comes on the heels of numerous complaints about the cars speeding out of the mansion’s driveway, and the 2,000 gallons of raw sewage that burst from their overloaded septic tank doesn’t really help matter for them either. When city officials came to investigate, what they saw was not pretty—exposed wiring, missing smoke detectors, holes in the bedroom floors and a suspicious lack of Chinese women giving birth. However, they did find brochures around the house that gave instructions on how to have an American baby . . . no, seriously. The practice itself isn’t illegal, but the substandard conditions definitely are. Maybe next time, they should just consider marrying an American?
