Do not mistake the comedy of funny man Brad Williams for that daredevil and prankster “Wee Man” from Jackass because their humor is completely different. In school, Williams was often picked on due to his achondroplastic dwarfism—he couldn’t go anywhere without everyone staring at him. Instead of letting it get to him, Williams managed to turn his condition from people looking at him funny to people laughing at his funny. He began to perfect his act in local shops in comedy and his life was forever changed when he saw Carlos Mencia perform live one evening. Williams was enjoying the show when Mencia started making dwarf jokes on stage. Naturally, the folks around Williams were afraid to laugh. Mencia noticed what was making the audience so uncomfortable, so he invited Williams up on stage. The tiny comedian wowed Mencia with some impromptu jokes, so Mencia invited him to be the opening act on his comedy tour. Williams has a way of making everyone laugh by pointing out the differences in all of us, both the obvious and the subtle. Since then, there’s been no turning back. Since then, Williams has been all over TV, including appearances on Live at Gotham, Legit, Mind of Mencia, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Pit Boss. He came out with the CD Coming Up Short in 2011 that showcases his comic genius and even the Kevin & Bean radio show on KROQ recognizes him as their favorite little person—and for good reason. His humor is grand and he packs a big punch that will make anyone laugh no matter what size you are.
