Good people, great art, snacks and drinks and beautiful Claremont is a great place to hop around for a fun weekend. Take a look at our recent adventures a the new exhibition “GLYPHS: ACTS OF INSCRIPTION” opening reception last week. This exhibition builds on the premise that identities are constituted through acts of inscription—real or imagined—into the visual archives that constitute history, popular iconographies and artistic canons. “GLYPHS” probes the consequences of such acts on the poetic and political dimensions of representation, difference and visibility.
